By your Google Account:
If you forgot the pattern of your android smartphone you can unlock it entering your
google account details, i.e by logging in with your google email ID and Password.First
you need to try 5 times with many patterns and then you will be redirected to a new
screen where you have to enter your google account details (which you have earlier
setup for play store in that android device) and your phone will be unlocked,then you can
change the pattern or do as you wish.This method will only help when you have forgotten
your unlock pattern.

- Simultaneously press menu key,power button and music up button.
- A new screen will appear in blue or red color (called recovery mode).check snapshot below.
- Use volume up down keys to navigate to wipe data/factory reset.
- Press menu key to enter(apply factory reset).
- You will be unlocked then and you are done.
For setting other android phones in recovery mode you
can check out their user manual or handset forums,then rest of steps and screen are same
for all android phones.If you still can't unlock your android smartphone then there is no
way other than formatting your android device.

To be true Muhammad I really expected the article to be some kind of hack or trick to unlock android pattern.
ReplyDeleteLet me be clear, I was a little disappointing because the two things you listed on the post are very much common. Every Android user supposedly knows it. Even if he doesn't there are whole bunch of article explaining these simple methods.
I would like to and if you'd let me add a criticizing comment. Your writing right now is pretty much amateurish. I advice you to keep working on your writing skills.

There is no hack or trick for this.I have myself checked everywhere and tried for any tricks or hacks to this problem but there is nothing else except these two methods and many users still don't about these two methods

ReplyDeleteInteresting conversation going on here. I have an android phone which I forgot the pattern lock sometime ago. After scouring the Internet and YouTube I got the phone unlocked.
ReplyDeleteMy point is that Abhishek is right, there are many tutorials and posts out there on how to unlock an android phone. The noted corrections are on track - especially on the Volume keys.
However, I still commend Mohammed for sharing this piece because there are still first timers that would stumble upon this post from the start.
